WOODCAST® is a heat-moldable biomaterial ideal for making casts, splints and orthoses.
It’s safe, X-ray transparent, re-moldable up to 25 times and self-attaching.

UCAST® is a pre-made super-splint that consists of two parts, a 100% biodegradable splint and a cohesive fabric bandage. Apply in 5 minutes, remold up to 25 times and recycle fully.

Lamination Technology

The hardener is used to cure 617HG5 OrthoEpox GreenLine and enables simple and homogenous mixing.

The phthalate-free hardening powder is less harmful to health than comparable products and thereby improves occupational health and safety in the orthopaedic workshop. The hardening powder is used for curing and enables simple and homogenous mixing.

OrthoEpox GreenLine is a sustainable epoxy resin which consists of 50 % renewable raw materials and is used for the fabrication of lightweight, thin-walled yet sturdy laminates in prosthetics and orthotics.

With the addition of Ottobock flax fibres, we are expanding our GreenLine product line to include a sustainable alternative to traditional reinforcement materials in the orthopaedic industry. Coming from renewable raw materials, our fibres are used to manufacture stable laminates and can be processed using both plaster and foam models.
