With the heel relief orthosis, you regain your mobility quickly and can return to your accustomed everyday life – with no need for crutches.
Your heel floats in the orthosis thanks to its unique design. Special sole and pressure build-up pads gradually increase the load on the heel bone. This promotes and considerably speeds up the healing process. The heel relief orthosis makes a largely physiological gait pattern possible.

Heel relief orthosis – provides relief and shortens therapy
As a rule, you can put full weight on your foot again after the fitting, with no need for crutches. The total treatment time is also reduced to just twelve weeks.

The floating heel principle is unique. It provides relief for your heel, which floats about 1 cm above the sole. In addition to relief, this results in early mobilisation and a favourable healing process.
The German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma explicitly recommends the heel relief orthosis for follow-up treatment after a heel bone fracture.
Padding in the heel area promotes bone healing. Sole and pressure build-up pads are used to easily build up contact on the heel and permit the load to be increased gradually
The heel relief orthosis has been a proven device in the treatment of calcaneal fractures for 20 years. This success is based on a unique design in combination with a scientifically substantiated treatment concept.
The orthosis permits a nearly natural rollover of the foot and makes walking more comfortable. This activates the muscle pumps, prevents muscle atrophy and reduces the risk of thrombosis.
