Ezra Frech

Ezra Frech is an American Paralympic track and field athlete specializing in high jump, long jump, and sprinting events. Born with congenital limb differences—missing his left fibula, knee, and with only one finger on his left hand—he underwent surgery at age two to amputate his lower left leg and transplant a toe to his left hand, enhancing his mobility and dexterity.

Demonstrating exceptional athleticism from a young age, Ezra received his first prosthetic leg at 11 months old and began using a running blade at four. He has competed internationally, earning two silver medals at the 2019 Parapan American Games and representing the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. In 2024, he achieved remarkable success by winning two gold medals at the Paris Paralympics.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Ezra is a motivational speaker and disability rights advocate. He co-founded Angel City Sports, a non-profit organization providing adaptive sports opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities.
