Redemption of Ownership Interest in Cascade Orthopedic Supply, LP

  1. When will Cascade become independently owned and operated?
    The signing of the agreements occurred on September 14th, 2024. The closing – which then includes the actual redemption of Ottobock’s ownership interests – is expected to take place within the next few weeks.

  2. What prompted this change in direction for both companies?
    Although Cascade and Ottobock shared ownership, both companies maintained an independent working relationship due to their respective responsibilities in the O&P Industry. It was ultimately decided that the best path forward would be for both companies to be held independently, while continuing to uphold a strong business partnership.

  3. Will the change in ownership impact Cascade’s product availability?
    The change in ownership will not impact the existing product distribution availability.

  4. Does the redemption impact the pricing of Ottobock devices for Cascade customers?
    All pricing will be honored as per the contract that is setup between the two organizations.

  5. What does the relationship between the two organizations look like going forward?
    Ottobock Healthcare will continue to operate as a valued supplier partner for Cascade’s distribution services. Cascade will continue to act as a primary distributor for the Ottobock Patient Care Facilities.
