The Genium X3 has now been developed even further on this basis for smoother, more intuitive walking, improved safety and better support in everyday situations. Another plus for you: The new prosthesis is incredibly simple to configure using the Cockpit app 2.0 on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
The Genium X3 opens up previously unthinkable possibilities for the user and goes a step beyond the Genium. Its robustness also makes it suitable for heavy-duty use at work and at home. Even working in damp conditions is no problem – an important factor for many prosthesis wearers who need to integrate back into their work environment.

Powerful versatility in every step
The bus or the children have to be caught up? No problem! With the Walk-to-Run function, Genium X3 users can change speeds spontaneously for short sprints. There’s also a running mode for covering longer distances during sports activities.
Special materials, coatings and components protect the Genium X3 against even strong jets of salt, fresh or chlorinated water. As a result, the prosthesis can be fully submerged without losing functionality, allowing users to shower, swim and work in wet environmental conditions.
With the Genium X3, users can check their own battery charge level or quickly activate their own personal presettings via the Cockpit app, available for iOS and Android devices.
MyMode Plus offers a fantastic selection of activity mode options for work, leisure and athletics. Together with their O&P professional, users can select up to five settings which they can easily activate in the Cockpit app or via a movement pattern.
The Genium X3 features advanced OPG (Optimized Physiological Gait) technology that promotes an exceptionally smooth walking pattern. This near-natural gait pattern is easier on the user’s body, providing more freedom and flexibility for everyday moments and activities.
Thanks to intelligent sensor technology, the Genium X3 responds to every move in real time. So users can change walking speeds, climb stairs step-over-step, overcome obstacles, stand relaxed on inclines, or step backward — without having to think about it.

The OPG (Optimized Physiological Gait) technology enables a near-natural walking pattern – even on slopes or uneven terrain, when changing speeds and in confined spaces. Thanks to an especially robust, durable design, the Genium X3 remains fully functional even in wet and harsh environmental conditions.
The natural gait pattern can also provide targeted relief for the user’s sound side, which has long-term positive effects on the locomotor system and helps users lead an active life.
More control at your fingertips
Integrated Bluetooth® technology empowers users and O&P professionals to configure the Genium X3 via the Cockpit app, available for Android and iOS devices. A few taps are all it takes to activate MyModes for additional support during a wide variety of activities, mute the joint while at a theater or other event, or check the joint’s battery charge level.
