Ottobock welcomes Pace Rehabilitation.

Acquisition of the prosthetic and rehabilitation services provider Pace Rehabilitation will expand Ottobock’ s patient care network in the United Kingdom.

5th January 2023, Ottobock, the global health-tech company, has successfully completed the acquisition of Pace Rehabilitation, one of the UK’s independent providers of prosthetic and rehabilitation services in the UK.

Pace Rehabilitation were established in 2003 by a small team of experienced clinicians and have provided an integrated approach to the treatment of people who have sustained limb loss or serious limb injury over the past 20 years. Operating from three clinics situated in Amersham, Bucks, Bredbury, Greater Manchester and Glasgow, the teams of clinicians help patients to improve their overall quality of life and enhance their mobility.

Pace Rehabilitation’s team of 40 people consists of consultants, therapists, allied health professionals, technicians, and support staff, who will all become part of the Ottobock Family alongside Dorset Orthopaedic.

Pace Rehabilitation has been a customer of Ottobock for many years. Therefore, the acquisition is an ideal opportunity for Ottobock to complement and enhance its offering in the UK. Pace Rehabilitation’s management team is highly motivated to continue the success story in close collaboration with other patient care entities within Ottobock.

Over the next few months, the people, the brand and the patients will be onboarded and become part of Ottobock’s collective endeavour to support its customers and empower its patients in fulfilling their potential.
