Stumble Recovery Plus becomes standard.
Every Ottobock microprocessor knee is equipped with our proprietary Stumble Recovery Plus technology. Active throughout the entire swing phase, including flexion and extension, this feature is clinically proven to reduce falls.
With Stumble Recovery Plus, the knee joint "recognizes" potential stumbles in real time and provides safe loading for the user via increased flexion resistance. The result? Greater safety and security in every step.
So Many Options for Safe Standing.
All Ottobock MPKs support Intuitive Stance — a proprietary feature that stops the knee from buckling so that users experience greater comfort and less strain on the contralateral side while standing. Intuitive Stance is easily activated by holding the knee in a slightly flexed position for a moment, then deactivated by extending the joint or taking a sound-side step.
Deliberate Stance is a similar feature available in C-Leg and Genium X4. It takes slightly longer to activate and is also a great option for bilateral users. With Genium X4, you can even choose various setting options between Intuitive and Deliberate Stance.
Last but not least, manual locking options ensure safe, stable standing for Kenevo or C-Leg users.

Every Ottobock microprocessor knee offers some level of ingress protection (IP rating) from the elements of daily life. The Kenevo is rated IP22, meaning it's protected from small drips of fresh water. The C-Leg is rated IP68, so it can easily handle occasional exposure to fresh water, such as light rain shower a user might encounter while taking a walk. And the Genium X4 is fully waterproof (IP68), water-jet-proof (IP66), and corrosion-resistant. So users can feel free to enjoy activities in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water.
