Valve
The 21Y2 QuickValve sets a new standard for speed in everyday use, allowing the socket to be removed with a simple twist. It is compatible with numerous liners and helps generate a vacuum in the prosthetic socket, reducing friction and shear forces during the swing phase. If the liner does not have a sealing lip, a sealing sleeve is required below the knee.

Lock and arrow symbols allow you to see which direction the valve should be opened and closed, and recessed grips on the valve cover make it easy to operate, even with limited finger mobility.
You can open and close the QuickValve with just one turn. This makes it quick and easy for you to put on and take off your prosthesis.
When bending your knee to sit, you can release the negative pressure by opening the valve, making sitting and knee bending easier and more comfortable.
The QuickValve contributes to a secure hold of your prosthesis while walking.
Showering, bathing in the pool or swimming in the sea are no problem with the QuickValve as it is protected against, fresh, salt and chlorinated water.
Whether you are an above or below knee amputee, you too can benefit from the advantages the QuickValve offers.
The QuickValve is easy to clean at home. The removeable cover can be quickly cleaned with a brief blow of air.
Karlianny is a bundle of energy!
With her Brazilian roots, Karlianny is a real bundle of energy. And she certainly needs energy for her busy everyday life with four children, work and hobbies.
What does Karlianny like the most about the QuickValve as an above-knee amputee? "The valve has a very discreet and sleek design, it's quick and easy to use."
Silvio is on the road and on his feet a lot.
In his job in the events industry, Silvio is on the road and on his feet a lot. When he comes home after a long day at work, he likes to relax on the couch and take off his prosthesis. "I like the fact that I don't have to think about my prosthesis while I'm working, it sits securely and firmly. And if I want to take it off, it's super easy to do with a twist of the valve."
The QuickValve is easy to use: with just one turn, the valve is opened so users can step into their prosthesis and close the valve with another turn. A haptic signal ("click") indicates that the valve is closed.
Air is discharged automatically when the socket is put on and while the prosthesis is used. Turning the valve cap opens the valve, air flows in, making it easy for the user to remove their residual limb from the socket.
The QuickValve is very quiet, and the handle recesses on it's cover make it easy to operate, even with limited finger mobility.
