Ensuring more self-confidence

Thanks to silicone’s non-slip properties, the MySkin Myo cover allows for a precise grip. This is a major benefit particularly when driving a car or riding a bike and when doing sports.

Non-slip grip

The custom silicone cover is designed to match the sound side of the body. Different skin tones for the back of the hand, wrist and palm are chosen with the technician’s help. The colour of the natural fingernails is taken into account as well.

Colour coordinated

Whether at work or in your free time, the prosthesis often comes into contact with newsprint, pen ink or bicycle chain grease, which can leave marks on the cover. The big advantage of the silicone cover is that such marks can be easily removed with soap and water during daily cleaning.

Easy care

The MySkin Myo cover is tailored to the MyoBock prosthesis solutions (8E38, 8E39 and 8E41) and offers the ideal combination of aesthetics and functionality. Fabricated by hand from silicone, the MySkin Myo imitates the individual user’s anatomy and skin colour down to the last detail. Everyday dirt can be removed with minimum effort.

The appearance is remarkable. Nobody I meet in everyday life notices I am wearing a prosthesis anymore.

Thanks to its perfect fit, the cover protects the prosthesis against dirt and moisture. The non-slip characteristics of the silicone material ensure a firm, secure grip. A special exterior coating is applied to ensure clothes can be put on without any issues.

MySkin Myo

We accurately match the colour of the user's nails to the nails of the remaining hand. The different colours of the nail bed, lunula and nail tip are taken into account.

Custom multicolour fingernails

Thanks to its custom fabrication, wrinkling of the silicone cover is kept to a minimum. This is particularly apparent on the back of the hand when the hand is opened to the maximum degree.

Reduced wrinkling

Custom fabrication allows us to replicate the shape of the fingers and nails and the anatomy of the user's hand in the prosthetic hand.

Anatomical shape

When we fabricate the custom silicon cover, we factor in the different shades of skin colour around the user's joints and on the palm and back of the hand. The result is a natural, true-to-life appearance that matches the user's other hand.

Individually adapted to the user's skin colour

With the MySkin Myo cover, you can offer your users the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality. Silicone is applied by hand in multiple layers, replicating the user’s anatomy and skin colour as closely as possible.

The SensorHand Speed with quick-disconnect wrist opens and closes more than twice as fast as other electric hands with easy and precise control. A total of six different programs can be selected and adjusted using the MyoSelect (article no. 757T13) or by exchanging coloured coding plugs (article no. 13E184).

The grip stabilisation system with SUVA sensors reduces the risk of an object slipping out of the hand and being dropped. The FlexiGrip function allows a grasped object to be repositioned in the hand.
