Ottobock Healthcare's iFab Department
The iFab Team is the technical fabrication team that manufactures prosthetic and orthotic devices with the Ottobock standard of quality. They provide custom fabrication services of traditional upper and lower limb prosthetic and orthotic solutions in addition to premium products such as Prepreg Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFO) and Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KAFO) that utilize Electronic Stance Control, socket technologies involving Computer Assisted Machining, prepreg and silicone. The proprietary medical grade silicone is used to manufacture functional and aesthetic restorations.
The iFab team is involved in developing future technologies for prosthetic & orthotic fabrication with an opportunity to interact with practitioners, clients, and customers spanning North America. Ottobock Healthcare Canada’s manufacturing facility is in Burlington, Ontario.
