The new material in the ThermoLyn series is ideal for the fabrication of self-supporting check sockets used in short-term, supervised trial fittings in the practice.
As a clear and transparent material, it allows skin discoloration on the surface of the residual limb to be precisely monitored in order to draw conclusions about the fit of the prosthetic socket. The thermoplastic material can be reheated and shaped as needed so that the contour can be perfectly adapted to the shape of the residual limb.

Processing information
Temperature recommendation: 160 °C /320 °F (convection oven, infrared oven)
Remove the protective foil before heating
Do not use solvents
Notes
Material: PETG
Cleaning: Clean with lukewarm water and soap
Disinfection: Alcohol and solutions of conventional disinfectant soaps
Storage: Synthetic materials must be stored in their original packaging, in a dry room in the temperature range of min. 10 °C /50 °F to max. 30 °C /86 °F. Exposure to light should be avoided.
