Games wide open
With the slogan “Games wide open” the Paris 2024 Committee chose a strong claim to represent both, the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 in France. “It is an invitation to the world to come and experience emotions together. Our Games are the commitments of new experiences and big thrills.” A total of 549 different competitions in 22 sports are held in exceptional venues all over Paris.

Ottobock at the Paralympic Games
In more than 30 years of experience at the Paralympic Games, we have always worked with an international team. In Tokyo, for example, a 106-strong team from 24 nations supported all athletes with repairs and services.
Also in Paris, we will be present with a technical repair service in the Paralympic Village and in several competition venues. Experienced orthopedic technicians, wheelchair specialists and welders will ensure that the equipment is repaired and maintained professionally and free of charge – regardless of the nationality of the athletes and the brand of their prostheses, orthoses and wheelchairs. Thanks to the commitment of the technical team, the athletes can concentrate fully on their performance and the competitions.

Notre contribution aux Jeux Paralympiques
Ottobock attends the Paralympic Games with an on-site, international team of technicians. We set up Technical Repair Service Centers close to the Athletes’ Village as well as in selected training facilities and venues. We also have a fully equipped mobile Technical Repair Service Center.
Experienced O&P professionals, wheelchair specialists and welders ensure that equipment is professionally repaired and maintained – regardless of the athletes’ nationalities or the brands of their prostheses, orthoses and wheelchairs. We’re there to help – even if athletes just need support with their everyday devices.
Before the medal rounds begin, our Technical Repair Service Centers work flat out to ensure sports equipment has not been compromised during transport and is functioning exactly as it should.
