MyCRO Band: Cranial remolding orthosis for flat head syndrome

Want to see if it’s right for your child?

About MyCRO Band

It’s a whole new kind of cranial helmet.

If your child has flat, sloped, or asymmetrical areas on their head, they likely have plagiocephaly, or “flat head syndrome”: a common condition that occurs when a baby’s soft, pliable skull gets shifted out of shape.

Plagiocephaly can be effectively treated in several different ways. One is a cranial remolding orthosis (CRO) like the MyCRO Band: a specialized device that helps gently correct the shape of a baby’s head.

Designed for all-day comfort, the MyCRO Band is a lightweight, super-thin CRO that makes “helmet therapy” a breeze. It’s individually crafted for your baby, with customized growth zones that leave just the right space for your baby’s natural shape to develop.

Benefits

It’s the smart option for your child — and for you.

From playtime, to naptime, to tummytime, MyCRO Band is built for all the squirms, snuggles, and fun your baby loves. And it’s great for busy parents too: It takes just one simple visit to get started, and fewer checkup trips from start to finish.

Getting Started

How & when to start CRO therapy

If you see flat or asymmetric areas on your baby’s head, it’s time to ask a healthcare professional if a CRO is right for your child. Every CRO is custom made, so these devices must always be prescribed by a doctor and carefully designed by a trained orthotist.

Babies’ soft skulls start hardening soon after birth, so CROs typically deliver better, faster results the earlier children begin helmet therapy. Many of these therapies are most effective between 4 to 8 months after birth, so it’s important to start treatment as soon as a doctor recommends it.
