Father of two, David Phillips, is a passionate and talented Paralympic Archer from Wales. David has remitting and relapsing Mutiple Sclerosis (MS) which is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.

Catherine 30, from Buckinghamshire loves to stand out with bright colours to show her bubbly personality and sense of fun and wanted a customisable wheelchair that could keep up with her social activities and enable her to live life to the full.

A healthy lifestyle and exercise are part of Marcel’s, Lisa’s and Mira's everyday life. Be it running, swimming, cycling, snowboarding or horseback riding: They prefer to spend their leisure time outdoors. Even pregnancy did not change this attitude to life nor did it involve any complications. There was no diagnosis of any maldevelopment, disorder or disability. Pure excitement about life as a family of three.

Léa enjoys doing sports. She plays basketball, likes horseback riding and enjoys karting and skiing–none of which was possible four years ago. Léa was born with cerebral palsy, could not even sit with her back straight or her legs crossed, nor was she able to turn her wrist normally. The Exopulse Mollii Suit changed this right away. Julius was born prematurely with mainly right-sided cerebral palsy. He is a very active kid who needs support when walking and running; otherwise, he often gets stuck with the tip of his foot and stumbles. He has a functional electrical stimulation device (L300 Go), which he simply wears as a cuff around his lower leg. Not only does it ensure that the tip of his foot lifts when he walks so that he no longer gets stuck or stumbles, but it also activates the leg muscles, thereby promoting venous return and improving the overall quality of the cardiovascular system. There are hardly any limits to his urge to move. Julius is thrilled that he can play soccer and go hiking. He can also wear his normal everyday shoes and does not need any special orthotic shoes. But best of all, Julius can even walk barefoot with the L300 Go system.

Zilan was born in China with a shortened leg and adopted by his Dutch family at the age of 2. Right after his arrival in the Netherlands, his family took care of a prosthetic fitting. Zilan is an active, adventurous boy. Exercise is very important to him. He does athletics, likes snowboarding and plays basketball. He wants to do all the things that the other children do–and his prosthetic fitting, which consists of an everyday prosthesis and a sports prosthesis, allows him to do that.

Leo is a lively boy who loves to play and climb outdoors. His great passion are cars. He is a former preemie and was born with hemiparesis (paralysis on one side of the body). He has been wearing a lower leg brace since he was 3 1/2 years old. This orthosis improves Leo’s walking pattern and reduces the risk of tripping. He particularly likes the fact that he can wear normal shoes with the orthosis and does not have to wear special orthotic shoes.

Custom-made orthotics give Emilia additional stability and improve her overall statics through the stretching effect. Ideally, she should wear them 23 hours a day to take advantage of the combination of stretching effect and inhibition of the spastic pattern. Every beginning is difficult. Currently, she is still practicing wearing it, and the wearing time is getting longer every day. "For any parent, the first step is very special. For us, it was a great feeling to see that our little sunshine has the necessary stability to take guided steps thanks to orthotics," says Andreas.
